"It's a man giving birth while being held down by
various tiny animals, the large-eared anteater
at the end is the doctor."
By 4.4, from this inkblot.
Here is another batch of interpretations from Oekaki. The first inkblot is not mine, but the more the merrier. There is some excellent work for it. All of which is by Anonymous, unless noted in the captions, which is generally just the text associated with the image. As you can see up there, 4.4 is floating around here and there, and Nadia doesn't exactly go by that name anymore, but I have my suspicions!

Two monstrous skulls - pp
"Adult attack! Adult attack!"
"Some kind of red headed, horned gangster.
Lookit them gang signs."
"Hey you! Yes, you. Stop walking on two legs, you're rats,
not humans. And take off your trenchcoats,
they don't even fit you."
The next inkblot got a good round of interpretations. I'm stuck with goat-head and his four arms protruding from his small rib cage. Do not forget that you can Click To Enlarge.

"A masquerade party."
"Moon" - Black Eyes

"An Asian man sucking his cheeks in."
"Ghost throwing up emotions."
This one was the inkblot leading the thread, and those tend to get the most interpretations:
Original Inkblot
"A zombie monkey does tricks."
"I don't even know what the fuck..."
"World wresting champion triumphing over villianous evil and corruption."
"Headless skater with stupid anatomy and huge triceps."
And these two interesting and somewhat genitalia-conflicting interpretations serve to highlight the phrase, "It's all in your head."
Of course, we aren't exactly looking at that end in either of these, are we?
"Dat ass."

This *has* to be 4.4. I recognize her aliens.
Hooker monster at her gynecologists',

Gynecologists sits cross-legged with hands on his knees,
but it's hard to see from the back.
Many thanks to the people that shared their art and interpretations with us. Pretty fantastic stuff there. Any problems or questions or comments, feel free to email me at st.inkblots@gmail.com!
I learned my lesson and decided to not show everything from Sunday at one time. Sure, I didn't split the amount of clips evenly, and I regrettably did not realize how much fun sound effects would be for me, or I would have used them more. I also like the notion of simply telling people their interpretations were wrong. Also, my puppet has a puppet.
Don't let the YouTube preview fool you: I did not have dueling random strangers looking at different inkblots simultaneously.
Since this video expresses my intent, I thought I would include a picture so I could use this page as a fall-back point when I speak to people that are pretty cool and might want to see who is having a laugh with (and/or at) them in these videos. Let them in to the fold, so to speak.
Quality Cropping Skills
I was thinking that this dog needs a name. I didn't want to call it Klex or Inkblot, because it seemed kind of pandering and Disney-esq, and calling him Hermann probably isn't the best way to pay any tribute towards my man H.R. I thought Next might be good, as it is indicative of the hit-and-run nature of Omegle and Chatroulette. I don't know! Any suggestions? Also leave some encouraging words for the poor souls that have been caught on cam, and if you are here because some dog gave you an address, let us know.
Bonjour Tristesse has won a prize. I could have sworn I had some sort of email banter with him, but I can't find it, therefore I hope he reads this. I couldn't think of any way to tell him on his blog that didn't sound like spam or some pervy request to contact me. Let's see if he is brave enough to hand over his address (not publicly of course). I'd like to think I have a little street cred in the privacy department; a handful of people have received prizes without their address being directly linked to me in any criminal proceedings.
Only The Finest Judging
(Yes, I took the time to write "censored" in there.)
For some reason I ended up making a caption of the paraphrasing, not the actual phrase that was written. THAT'S the type of entertainment you get here. (I thought it looked like an album cover.)
I thought I would give you more images to choose from for your captions. If you did one yesterday you are still good to go, but feel free to share any captions you come up with for any of these. I never said this would be easy!
A simple contest for a neat prize. Just pick one of the images above and caption it. That is all you have to do and you will be entered in the raffle to win both these cool dolls from Sweet Tart Art, created by one of of our own (Dustee, who admits she hasn't blogged much recently. But that is because she is making cool stuff!)
Make sure you include an email if there isn't one in your profile!
The random nature of sites like Omegle and Chatroulette make it really difficult to focus on getting people to look at inkblots. Color me chaotic. Let me know if this gets boring; I already think it is too long.
Ok, so Dusteefrom Sweet Tart Artwas kind enough to send me two of her creations to give away as prizes and I ended up using one of them for reasons I doubt she intended (see above.) Fortunately, she did not freak out when I showed her the video (I mean, she is operating a business there) so I need to know, would it make a difference if you won a prize that was slightly...used?
